Snow

In operation "Hood Over Head" things are moving along smoothly so far. I cannot reveal the details yet but I can assure you that it will be a success.

Snow happened alot today from when I went into work this morning until I left around 9 it snowed hard non stop. I don't think we will have a snowday tomorow but the child in the back of my head is holding onto hope. I don't mind going to school anymore now that I am old enough to understand it's importance but I am also taking important classes that will help me out personally with my major.

ANYWAYS...bad things have happened but not that bad. I don't feel like typing it all but more good than bad has come to me since last post. I am stressed out about my car and all the parts I want to buy and the lack of money and I cannot do a thing to relieve the stress until spring when I start my big cleaning process and begin installing my summer car parts like the neons and repainting all the engie pieces and brake calipers.

Thursday

So much anticipation on my mind rescently. I've decided to go for it and buy some major car upgrades but I will keep them secret until the time comes becuase EVERY time I tell someone I'm going to do something it falls apart or takes an insanely long amount of time so you all are going to have to wait ;)

I need a new job I only make $5.75 an hour at Farmer Jacks and only get about 16 hours a week. NOT ENOUGH! My shop teacher said if he had anotehr year with me he could put me in a tool and dye shop at about $12 an hour....I would kill for that kinda job and that kinda money...Thanks to the bitch ass counselors at my school I didn't know about metal shop until this final year. I'm takeing basic music this semester and I am practicing the guitar alot more as a result so that's good. I think I'm actually getting better! WOOOO!

This weekend's schedule is to go to Jeremy's Friday. I haven't hung out with him ina a while so it should be great :) Saturday morning I am goin to Inder's to do a Cold Air Intake and Strut Bar installation on a friend's Vibe. That's gonna be a blast! I'll have to leave by about 3:30 to get ready for work at 4:30. I work from 4:30-10:30. Not bad at all but I really need more money.

Shattered pride

Soo...Thursday after school I washed my baby. At 5 I had to be at work. It snowed as soon as I got there so the car got wet. When I got out of work I dried her off real nice so she didn't get water spots. I went to dinner with my boss Mike at Coney and then headed to the gas station on Groesbeck. On the way home I was heading down Clinton River from Cass. After the first corner I noticed it was icy. after hte corner I lost it around the corner and did a 180 and hit a firehydrant with the back of the car. It was all in slow motion....the spinning...the sound...it wa shorrible. I could have steered out of the spin, but I turned the wheel against the spin instead of with the spin...I wasn't thinking straight. Furtunately I had the gas flooredso it slowed the car down to about 10mph before I hit it. It put a hole in the side of the rear left bumper, which I gues is ok because I needed to buy a new one anyways thanks to that dickhead that rear ended me over hte summer. It also put about a 6inch diameter dent in the left rear quarter panel. Fortunately it didn't crack or crinkle the paint so the dent should be able to get pulle dout easily. I feel so bad about this. I feel like I've betrayed my baby :( Oh well, shit happens, it'll get fixed soon.

Today Dima let me drive his car (5speed manual trans) it was fun. First time ever driving a stick.

So, regaurdless of the cold weather I ges it's not too bad...I'm already making a list of all teh stuff I'm doing in the spring come April and May.

1) Start a Michigan Vibe club called (MI VIBE) Thanks to Mike :)
2) Start a general car club for friends around the area called (REAPER)
3) Order and install my Tein S-Tech lowering springs
4) Order and install roof rack replacement caps
5) Get new tires
6) Make street racing video
7) more but I can't think of anything else now

Today I asked Charlie to cover for me at work. Being the cute guy he is, he did for me. I went to my friend Kyle's with Dima to work on Dima's new exhaust. It doesn't fit becasue a bolt rusted and broke on his old exhaust. So instead of that we worked on Kyle's dad's and his 350 chevy for the pro stock mwagon they are building. They are only saving the block so we took off the heads and intake manifold. It was soooo fun. We hada good time...I love working on cars it's so relaxing and soothing. It gave me just the taste of engines I needed to hold me over until teh action in the spring and summer. I cant wait!!!!!

I gues the main reason I forget about posting is because not much happens...after all, it's winter. Only good thing about winter is snowmobiling and precision sliding on the ice haha. I might be buying a pair of Audiobahn tweeters to complete my stereo system. Only $10 for the pair from my friend and $24 for the housings from the Pontiac dealer since I can use the "moon and tunes" tweeter housings. Mike, I'm pretty sure you'll see this, I'm keepin my eyes open for a CAI system for your Vibe. Hopefully I can find a nice Injen or AEM one.

The beloved holiday of Christmas is approaching. Personally I am looking forward to the spring and warmth than Christmas...I'm looking forward to getting some awsome stuff this year. I doubt anyones gonna get me any car parts like the S-Techs or TRD strut brace, but I can dream can't I? I think I'm gonna get my mom a dishwasher for Christmas. I'm gonna check out pricing Tuesday and see if I can manage it without having to sneak any cash outa my account.

Not exactly the most relaxing weekend. I had to work friday from 4-8...not bad at all was only there for four hours so it was fine. I went to Gratiot with Tony for a little to get in the cruising we still can before snowfall. There were a ton of bad-ass cars on there. Not the usual crowd of riced out civics and avengers...tonight there were hardcore cars out like supras, 300zxs, a '69 Camaro, and other bad ass cars. I had to be home by 11 becuase of ACTs Saturday morning.

ACTs are just like the MEAPs almost...except more anoying. I think I did semi good, although there wasn't enough time to finish each section completely...bastards...

Sunday was work from 12:30-9 so that ate up the whole day. By the way Mike if you're reading this, thanks for hte cds I like the Pro-peller Heads cd, I'll probably burn it.

AFTER SCHOOL I washed my baby. Used some new wax I got "Eagle 1" It looks so beautiful!!! I can't wait for this spring so I can get all my mods done!!!

OoOoOo...I bought a system finally! WOOO last Friday. I almost didn't ge tit because the original vendor didn't have the correct amp to power the subs. We went to a different vendor and got the price down frmo $175 to $155. Great deal alltogather about $300 for the amp, subs, and wiring. Inder and his brother Sonny helped me install it the same day. It hits so hard and sounds really really clean and powerful. I have a few rattles to work ou t though. I surpressed a couple temproarily with some rags until I can afford some dynamat :)

I have some really neat ideas for the car once I pay off Inder for the subs. I'm going to get little red L.E.D.s and put one in each heater vent and eac door handle for a sweet accept color at night to go with the red, black, and silver/chrome theme.

Well what a glorious day today...I woke up at the normal school time, left and instead of going to school I went to court. I had to go to court for my neon light ticket I got back in August. I was there early and checked in then I was sitting in the courtroom for about 30 minutes, and the majistrate decided to do our courtroom first. I was hte thrid one called up. She said the charge and asked "how do you plead?" and I said "Guilty with explanation" and she asked if I took the neons off the car and I said "yes" and she said "Ok than I will dismiss this ticket." So I was only there for about 45 minutes top. After that I headed back to school. I only missed 1st hour and half of second hour :)

After school I went to my grandma's and ate and visited, then I came home relaxed and washed my baby. Of course I did my nightly run before showering. I can now runa full mile without even getting tired! Such an accomplishment, I have never been able to run a full mile in my life.

Now that I have the cash from my ticket to spend, I will be purchasing a sound system this weekend. Two 10" Kicker Componants with a 350watt rms each and also the amps to power it...w0oOt

Work at Partridge after school for an hour and a half with Mike. I came home and decided to take off my neons for court Thursday. That took about an hour or so. Once that was done I cleaned up and I installed my reflective black pontiac emblem overlays. It looks so sweet IMO.

At around 8 or so, Travis and the Jeremy came over and we watched Fight Club...my first time viewing...that sa really fucked up movie but an EXTREMELY good one.
Well, unlike the rest of you that went ot homecoming, I worked from 1:30-10. Afterwork I went down to Gratiot and met a few of my friends with Vibes. We chilled and talked. I listen to my one friend's stereo system and I might buy his subs off him. It sounds amazing...the best sounding stereo I've heard yet. He has al new interrior speakers too...even without bass, the speakers sound very clean and nice.

Stayed home frmo school today because I am sick...sore throat, running noce, swollen right eye, you know the deal. I woke up around 12:30, then ate and played a little Driv3r and Socom II before heading off to work at 4:15. Work flew by today because I was constantly doing something...I think I actually bagged maybe 30 minutes during the whole 6 hours because I was too busy doing other things.

After work I went for a ride down Gratiot. There was te usual there. Saw a Lancer Evo 8 and a turbocharged 240sx, along with the usual crew down there. Tomorow a bunch of fellow Vibers are meeting on Gratiot and we are gonna chill and cruise togather. Last weekend there were 6 of use cruisin and one Nissan Sentra. All the Vibes were "tricked out" so it was awsome, and everyone was staring at our cars.

I'm hoping my cold is gone by tomorow. Just so I have a more peaceful day at work.

-=Paul=-

Hey Joe

Well, I got a ticket for my neon underbody lights a month or so ago, and the court date is set for 9/30 at 8:15am. his means I have to deliberately skin school for the first time in my life...I was hoping I wouldn't ever have to skip, and this is my last year so I was ALMOST there...Oh well. I'm going to take of fhte neons befor ei go to court. With a little luck I am hoping with all my heart that the Judge dismisses the charges becaus I took them off. It is for $95 and 2 points by the way. I dunno how the hell neons give you points on your liscense but whatever. I don't even care if I have to pay the $95, I just hope I don't get the points becuase if I do, then my insurance will go up and my mom will kill me 7 times over. Wish me luck.

If, by chance, I don't ahv eto pay the ticket, I am buying two 12" AUdiobahn ALUM12Q Sound Q subwoofers and a 1200watt amplifyer. I will only buy one amp and one sub for now just to get the good sound and a descent kick. After this I'm saving all my money until next spring. I will be purchasing a set of Tein S-Tech Lowering springs that will drop my baby 2.5 inches for about $140. After that I'm having a custom dual exhaust built...that will cost about $200. Then MAYBE I will think about getting window tint and the other sub and amp :) I hope I can manage to save enough money. As long as I don't spend it on stupid shit like fast food, than I'll be all set.

-=Paul=-

He is right on the corner of 16 and Gratiot and his left rear tire is gone. He comes walking over frmo across 16 with his tire in hand. The traction bars gouged a huge trench in the concrete. It's a good thing those things were on or he would have had alot more damage done.

Today i workded from 11:30 to 4:15. I'm now waiting until around 8:30 and I'm gonna go over Schorsch's house and cruise.

Friday I went to different game stores with Kevin and I swapped some of my old PS games for three new PS2 games. I got Conflict Zone, Rainbow Six 3, and Stuntman. They are sweet ass games. I was also suposed to do something with Sandi later on at night, but she got in trouble for something. It was raining, the rain ruins every Friday night for me since I look forward to cruising all week. I decided to go out anyways. The rain cleared up and it was nice so I could drive with my windows down. Not too much action that night though.

Saturday...it was rainy and shitty so I didn't do anything. I just sat around and played games until Mike and Ryan came over about 5 and then Jeremy at abot quarter after. i had to get ready for work at 5:30 so everyone left. I worked until 10:45 and then I met Tony at the car wash and went for a ride down Gratiot. After that I picked up Jeremy and we went down Hall to see if there was anything. Hall road blows...not a single sweet car.

Today I don't have anything planned. Jeremy is still sleeping in my basement. I might have to go hit him with something.

Best and Worst

Tony and I went to pick up my CAI Friday night. We got home and I tried to install it at the car wash on Gratiot in a half hour. I didn't have enough time so I had to reinstall the old intake without the tube conecting to the filter box. It sounded kind of sweet with out hte tube in. I went over my dad's Saturday after work and we installed it there. We had to put a minor dent in the CAI tube for it to fit between the headlight unit and the wheel well. After installing it we went for a test drive. It sounds so good I can't believe it. It adds 7 horse power. It's weird how one little tube can completely chang the sound of your engine! I love it. It was well worth the money.

Today I stayed home. I have an ear infection, a head cold, and my right eye is swollen almost to the point where it is closed. My throat doesn't hurt that bad anymore though. If this shit doesn't clear up by Friday I'm gonna be pissed.

3 more days unti lI go and buy my Cosmos Racing cold air intake system. I'm so fuckin happy. I found a '73 Nova with a .63" bored 360. The guy wants $2500 or best offer. I wish I coud buy it and work on that muther fucker. I might also be getting new grills for my baby this week or next week.

Yesterday I went to the In Flames concert with Travis and Jeremy. Killswitch Engage was there and As I Lay Dying. It was fucking crazy. In Flames was fucking amazing. I love them. It's one thing to love their cds, but when you see them in person, it gives their music a whole new meaning. I'm still suffering the after effects of ringing ears and stuffiness. Hopefully it goes away tomorow.

Spring BRAKE

Yeah, I don't remember if I posted anything from spring break. Where did I go you might be wondering? Well...I went to the greatest place on earth...Gratiot...I already told you about friday and saturday night. I went out again the next Friday and met Jay, and Bill in both their Novas at the car wash...Jay's car sounds so fucking awsome...

I went out again last night and met some people at the car wash including Bill in his Nova, Jay and Amanda in Jay's Nova, Tony in his Alero, Alex an dhis friend in Alex's Focus SVT, and John Cavalier in his 300m...we hung out at the car wash for a while and then cruised for a while and then all of us parked at the Rite Aid to watch the cars at the light right in front...we were all standingaround ont he grass talking and shit...There were some AMAZING cars out. After a while some fat bitch waddles out of Rite Aid and bitched at us for loitering in their parking lot and she said she called the cops, so we packed up and cruised some more. After a while we got sepated but I caught Jay and this cop flew by and was trying to get him, so I tried to pull next to the cop to prevent him from passing the minivan in between Jay and himself. Jay turned into toco bell and the cop tried to pass the minivan on the right but the minivan went in there as well and the cop couldn't get him :). We regrouped and went to the car wash again and a couple Novas followed Jay in and after about 5 minutes a cop blasts in the lot and yells at us to leave so we left and then I headed home.

Alright, so Friday and Saturday night I went out cruising. Saturday night I met Dave and Bill at that car wash on Gratiot just after 12 mile. We waited around until other sweet cars showed up. A ton of sweet rides rolled in, in less than 10 minutes. It was crazy. Then a cop came and broke it up. I ate a ton of shit for Easter hurray.

Finally I have over $200 so only about $70 more and aI can order my exhaust. I'm so excited.

cursed

I swear, I am getting fucked over in all aspects of life. Alot of kids can get jobs through a relative or friend but I can't find any work anywhere. My last home was dealin...just like everything else, I got a taste of goodness by sellin and then I buy more and I can't fuckin sell any!!! I was excited and had my hopes up about getting my exhaust system very soon but I'm doubt I'll be getting it any time soon. I'm so fuckin bored with everything and nothing ever changes. I can't stand school becuase of the people and because every class is the same thing every singlle day. Rain blows. I wish it was warm out already so I could cruise and vent my anger and boredom. I'm gonna go on a rampage and kill things!

Oh well. In two weeks during break it should be good for cruising. At least then I'll have something to do...although according to other people, gas prices are suposed to go up to $2.00 a gallon by then, which means I will be using all my exhaust money for gas thus, putting me even farther away from my dreams. Ok I quit. No more bitching.

Hittin the streets

Wow, what a night that was...my Friend Tony and I wanted to go cruising Friday but it rained so we waited until I got off work at 9:45 to cruise down Gratiot Saturday night. On the way to Gratiot we didn't see anything so our hopes were down. Finally we got to 12 mile and Gratiot....HOLY SH*T there were so many beautiful custom cars from 12 mile to 9 mile. I'm talkin like Crotch rockets, choppers, muscle cars, tuners...everything from a '76 blown camaro to supras.

There was a car club with 6 mustangs that I cruised along with for about 10 minutes. There were 2 saleens a cobra R a rousch stage 3 a GT with blue neonsand a cobra. After that I cruised with another car club that consisted of 2 eclipse,s a talon, a camaro SS and a couple more stangs. I passed this gas station..it had ATLEAST 15 cars parked all over it ranging from civics to neons to celicas and a few crotch rockets. I drove a little ways and stopped at a light. To my left was a blue civic with a mean sounding exhaust system and it was turbo charged. Behind us was a TON of other custom cars one of which was the '76 blown camaro, and a 5.0 cobra, and a 3000gt VR-4. All of us started revving our engines it was so loud...then I hear this sh*tty exhaust in the midst and I look over to find a "dropped to the ground" '93 Ford Taurus wagon with a huge @$$ exhaust tip revvin it up. It was hilarious looking.

I did a Michigan left to cahnge direction and ths charcol colored t-top Supra with black wheels flies by and I get next to him and a taurus on the frnot line. He had computers and sh*t all over the dash and I complimented his car and he asked to race lol. He smoked me. A few lights later a kid in a 240sx said to me "hey do those neons add more horse power?" and I laughed and said yeah 23hp...we revved em up and raced at the light and I anihilated him. While I was at a light, on the other side of Gratiot I watched an SVT Focus destroy a mustang Cobra and Camaro SS.

On the way home I stopped at another gas station where cars were loitering. There was the charcol cupra and anotehr White supra with dark tints. THere was a white 3000gt, a few crotch rockets, grand prixs..I ran into my friend jeremy with is GTP there at the station and there was that stupid taurus wagon and a couple civics all just hangin out at the station. Me and my friend Tony went o check out the supras and 3000gt. What beautiful cars!!!

Finally to conclude this amazing night I was almost home and I got pulled over by a cop for my neons again...this time I was lucky and he didn't give me a ticket.

That was the best night of my life!!!!!!!! I can't wait until next weekend.
